If you've been following my blog then you have heard me refer to a certain type of bracelet as the "Linda" bracelet. Well, this bracelet was named after my sister Linda, who is my oldest sister. She is the example of all examples. One thing that Linda and I share in common is our passion for creativity. We both love to make beautiful things! Me, I have loved jewelry since as long as I can remember, and I just started to purchase beads and such about 2-3 years ago, to make a few things for myself. My sister Linda, had a bit of a passion for it too! She was much more detailed in her work than I.
Linda became sick in November of 2006 and was told for the next couple of months that she had pneumonia, she was then finally diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer at the end of January 2007, and a week later she passed away. All seven of her siblings including myself were able to spend some precious time with her that last week of her life and that is something I hold dear to my heart.
After Linda's passing her sweet daughter Tamra sent me all of Linda's beads and tools. And in the midst of all the goodies I received, I found a bracelet she was in the middle of making, which meant more to me than all the treasures in the world.. I finished that bracelet and since made many more of that same style. Therefore we now have a bracelet that I'd like to dedicate to my sweet Angel Sister "Linda".
Happy Birthday! Linda
